About The OG
EMPOWERING THE PURSUIT OF ADVENTURE THROUGH EVENTS AND TRAINING
The Outdoor Gathering came to life starting from a conversation between two outdoor enthusiasts and go-getters, Erik and Tate.

Why are the majority of today's outdoor expos focused on specific segments within the industry versus the outdoor industry as a whole? This gap led to a vision, and this vision led to the conception of The Outdoor Gathering. (The OG)

Our goal at The OG is to provide access to expos, events and training courses that will encompass many adventure types within the great outdoors. By connecting the adventurer to the professional in the channel that peaks their interest, they will be able to confidently pursue their passion.

Events
We will host several events surrounding the outdoor industry as a whole with our key event being an expo. Contrary to other expo's, our focus will be a collective of outdoor activities. We will strive to bring the camping, fishing, kayaking, hunting, hiking, overlanding, biking, and etc. communities together.

Our goal with these events is to help connect the adventurer to the professional in that field. Many outdoor focal points overlap but we miss this because they are honed into specific markets. We want to bring the outdoor industry together.
Training
Building confidence through training to empower the outdoor enthusiast's next adventure, is an important core concept for The OG. We will partner with the local professionals to host training seminars for their industry. We plan to build a network of experts in their fields to assist with this task. As we build this network, we plan to be able to do training camps and classes across the country.
Types of Training:
Survival, Shelter, 4x4 Recovery, Fire Making, First Aid, Trauma Response, Firearms, etc..
